You are only well liked if you follow their lead, otherwise you are treated differently in a passive aggressive way. If they are a skewed from the norm, then my advice is to not share them unless you are prepared for the scrutiny. This place us not as inclusive as one might think. Then there would not be such a need to balance work and home life! Culture: This place can be cliquey and you do have your favorites who are acknowledged more than those who are trying. It would be nice if we have 4 days of work but let Fridays be teacher work days. But the reality is, some of it makes no sense developmental wise to implement. Curriculum is not the best as most of it was created to show big wigs that they have implemented them. Also students are overburdened with homework and online work. Students are expected to act like little soldiers (they are scrutinized as much as we are). The bottom line is all they care about and data. Their mission sounds great in theory but this is not a sustainable place to work at. If you so much as,express a candid opinion, be prepared to hear from admin. Over all culture: Overworked, deceiving hiring process, micronanaging, semi toxic culture, professional development 2x a week.
